Lemonade Night: Anon(ymous)
Thursday, April 23, 2026 (7:30 PM - 9:30 PM) (PDT)
Description
Support theatre makers in need through a night out at the theatre! At this performances of "Anon(ymous)" on April 23, there will be the opportunity to support and learn more about the TBA Mary Mason Memorial Lemonade Fund.
'Anon(ymous)' by Naomi Iizuka is a powerful journey of identity, resilience, and the search for home. Lost in an unfamiliar world, a young refugee named Anon navigates a perilous odyssey across a fractured landscape, encountering a cast of strangers - some kind, some cruel, all searching for something. Separated from his mother, Anon must rely on his wit, courage, and hope to survive as he moves through a tapestry of haunting, poetic, and surreal encounters. Inspired by Homer’s The Odyssey, 'Anon(ymous)' is a timely, lyrical and urgent reimagining of what it means to belong. It is a journey that explores the power of memory, the pain of displacement, and the strength of an individual as he confronts his identity.
The Mary Mason Memorial Lemonade Fund is a confidential resource for theatre practitioners with critical illnesses, conditions, or injuries who are in need of supplemental financial assistance.
Since 2000, Theatre Bay Area has distributed over $100,000 to theatre workers in need through the Lemonade Fund. Much of it is made possible through generous donations by fellow artists.
