Description

A dramatized biography of the modern dancer Maud Allan (1873-1956). She was an early and influential practitioner of modern dance but is usually overlooked in treatments of that art and is always overshadowed by Isadora Duncan. Maud Allan's story is told through an accumulation of memories rich with imaginative texture. The play takes us on an enchanting journey through the dancer’s life with the help of Oscar Wilde, a Professor, and many other compelling characters. Come be a part of a whirling ride of moments and fantastical images that paint a picture of Maud Allans' extraordinary life.
