Description

The play tells the story of State Senator Ethan St. John ( Gary Moore) happily married to his wife(Brittany Young). As a rising political star who is asked by the President to run for a critical seat in Congress Ethan is supported by his own winning leadership team and they are just coming off the win for a seat in the senate.

With a small team (Gianmarco Mallque & Yay Mitchell) along with fellow Atty. and High School buddy (Brian Brown) Ethan is on a political trajectory that appears to be poised to defeat the incumbent Congresswoman. Then from out of nowhere, amidst all the Ethan St. John accolades and successful achievements, J.J.(Chris Marsol), his absolute best friend from high school, is charged with having committed a serious sexual assault. Ethan, who believes J.J. to be innocent, soon finds himself battling with both the press (Veronica Valencia) as well as his “win-at-any-cost” campaign manager (Najee Joyner) who believes “an ugly win is still a win”! Finding himself faced with a daunting choice: does Ethan abandon J.J. and focus on winning the election, or does he jeopardize the campaign by supporting his longtime friend? The drama ultimately turns on Ethan’s decision and its outcome.
