Seeds of Time Festival

Marin Shakespeare Company, in partnership with Play On! Shakespeare, presents the second annual Seeds of Time Festival, featuring six new theatrical works and the playwrights bringing fresh voices, perspectives, and forms of storytelling to the stage.

Curated by AeJay Antonis Marquis, the festival runs October 3–18, 2026, at Marin Shakespeare Company’s downtown theater at 514 Fourth Street in San Rafael.

Over three weekends, six playwrights and creative teams will participate in intensive weeklong development workshops. Each workshop concludes with public presentations, giving audiences an opportunity to experience the plays during a vital stage of their development and to participate in conversations with the artists.
