Description

Doors 7pm | Music @ 7:30 | Play @ 8:15

Please Don't Slow Me Down -- a world premiere play by Melina Cohen-Bramwell, directed by Lana Richards.

With live music opening acts each night for a DIY house-show-meets-blackbox-theatre experience.

Featuring an all-local team of actors, designers, and production staff.

Benji Tullman, a bipolar, Bay-Area-born millennial—and the physical embodiment of his cyclical moods—are having one last, manic hurrah. Over the course of one wild night, they wind up at a rave on the site of his former elementary school, Chaverim Jewish Day School, and at a crossroads that will determine the course of Benji’s future. (It’s a comedy!)

The Reflection Achievement. The Bay Area is beautifully diverse and so is this production.

The Open Doors Achievement. This production has taken tangible, intentional steps to increase access for Bay Area audiences.

What are TBA Highlights? We're honoring incredible productions across the Bay that are driving the future of theatre forward. The Highlights program uplifts specific shows that have met the important benchmarks required to earn one (or more) of our four achievements: Homegrown Achievement, Going Green Achievement, Reflection Achievement, and Open Doors Achievement. When you see one of these badges you can expect to see theatre produced, rehearsed, and performed according to these values.
