LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT

Friday, April 24, 2026 7:30 PM - Sunday, May 10, 2026 2:00 PM (PDT)

Description

A newly abridged production of Eugene O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey Into Night opens this spring at San Francisco’s Phoenix Theatre, marking the 70th anniversary of the play’s 1956 Broadway premiere. Staged in an intimate black-box environment, with no proscenium separation, the production brings the audience into close proximity to the Tyrone family as it navigates a single, volatile day filled with accusation, recrimination, regret and addiction.
