Support theatre makers in need through a night out at the theatre! 10% of all ticket sales for this night of "Ride the Cyclone" will be donated to the TBA Mary Mason Memorial Lemonade Fund.
When a freak roller-coaster accident claims the lives of a Canadian choir group on a field trip, the teens end up in a truly bizarre purgatory. A mechanical fortune teller tells them that only one of them can be brought back to life. To win the ultimate prize, they must prove who deserves it the most…by telling their story through song. Full of edgy comedy and musical styles ranging from dance pop to vaudeville, this Off-Broadway musical has also gone viral on TikTok. “Simultaneously dark, funny, and poignantly life-affirming.” –Variety
This fundraiser is part of our ongoing partnership with City Lights Theater Company in support of the Lemonade Fund. Thank you to CLTC to opening your doors to us every Second Saturday of your 25-26 season!
The Mary Mason Memorial Lemonade Fund is a confidential resource for theatre practitioners with critical illnesses, conditions, or injuries who are in need of supplemental financial assistance.
Since 2000, Theatre Bay Area has distributed over $100,000 to theatre workers in need through the Lemonade Fund. Much of it is made possible through generous donations by fellow artists.
