Thursday, October 17, 2024 7:00 PM - Sunday, October 27, 2024 7:00 PM (PDT)
Description
GHOSTRAVE unfolds as an immersive adventure about Chayson, an indigiqueer bike messenger from 1990 San Francisco, and Coyote the Trickster, who accidentally "summons" Chayson to 1890 Nevada and beyond. From composer Brandon M.P. Roberts and librettist Jerome Joseph Gentes, GHOSTRAVE breaks the rules of dancefloors, spacetime, indigeneity, genderqueerness, opera and theatre. Featuring groundbreaking approaches to musical composition, using DJ formulas and techniques such as harmonic mixing and beat matching to fuse music genres and rhythms.
