Description
E4TT presents a multimedia musical dialogue between works by the Second Viennese School triumvirate of Berg, Schoenberg and Webern and new music inspired by their groundbreaking work. The program features World Premieres of Piano Trio No. 2 by E4TT co-founder/ Senior Artistic Advisor David Garner (he/him), Mystic Trio by Valerie Liu (she/her), a new chamber arrangement with vibraphone of Alban Berg's lush song cycle, Sieben Fruehe Lieder, by percussionist/composer TJ Martin (they/them) and "unmuted" by Britney Do, the winning piece in the E4TT/TAC student composition competition; plus three contemporary piano works by Arnold Schoenberg, Anton Webern, and Adam Schoenberg (no relation).
Expression: Ism is a collaboration with the SF Conservatory of Music Technology and Applied Composition (TAC) Department and will include images by Arnold Schoenberg, Expressionist painters, and E4TT A/V Project Specialist Stephanie M. Neumann.
This production has achieved two TBA Highlights!

The Open Doors Achievement. This production has taken tangible, intentional steps to increase access for Bay Area audiences!
