Dream Hou$e follows two Latinx sisters who star on an HGTV-style reality show where they sell the family home. The sisters each deal with their own desires and struggles while trying to capitalize on the gentrification of a “changing neighborhood.” One sister tries to wrap her head and heart around the turmoil in the family’s ancestral past, while the other decides how much she will sacrifice for their family’s future.

The question is—what is the cultural cost of progress in America? Is cashing in on opportunity always considered selling out?
