Casting Call:

The Shotgun Players are hosting auditions for a new piece created by Erika Chong Shuch and Charles Mee called The Fall Show:

Long-lasting love is marked by both comfort and conflict. In The Fall Show, an older couple’s unexpected romance unfolds against a maelstrom of memory and movement. Lovers collide, chaos erupts, and tenderness persists in an intimate examination of love ‘til the very end.  

Cast needs:

Two actors mid 60s-80s.  (any gender - plays a couple)

Modest movement and singing skills required. 

Playing piano is a plus. 

The nudity called out in the script is optional.

Additionally, 5 actors/dancers ages 20s-60s. 

Strong movement and dance capabilities and modest singing skills required. 

First round auditions:

Please submit a self tape with a monologue (2 minute max)  and song (1 minute max)  via shareable link (not download) that shows your range by February 1 to casting@shotgunplayers.org.

Self Tapes are preferred, however

If you're unable a self tape, we will be hosting in person auditions on Sunday, February 8th.

 Please let us know by January 25th if you would like to attend the in-person audition. 

Production Dates:

First rehearsal - Monday, Aug 3, 2026

First Tech rehearsal - Thursday, September 17th

First Preview - Saturday, September 26th

Opening - October 3rd

Announced Closing - October 25th

Extension closing - November 2nd

Pay: 

$19.80 per hour
