Miss Roj is a dazzling, defiant queen of the drag world who reigns over the nightclub scene with sass and wisdom. A truth-teller who exposes the dangers, desires, and disillusionment of being Black and queer in America. Beneath the flamboyance lies a powerful social commentator unafraid to confront racism, homophobia, and pain with fearless glamour. Seeking an actor with a bold presence, dynamic range, and a deep sense of rhythm, wit, and vulnerability.

We’re seeking a versatile actress to play multiple roles throughout the scenes, which require sharp comedic timing and a wide range of emotions. This actress must be able to shift seamlessly between satire and sincerity, parody and poignancy, embodying different archetypes and subverting stereotypes. Strong character development, vocal variety, and physicality are essential.

We are seeking four dynamic dancers with strong hip-hop foundations to bring electrifying energy to transitional moments and thematic vignettes in The Colored Museum. Dancers will embody the rhythm, rebellion, and resilience of Black cultural expression.
