Songs for a New World - URGENT CASTING NEED: Non-Union, Volunteer
The Western Stage is seeking a strong male BIPOC/AAPI/Latinx actor/singer (High Tenor - Vocal Range: D3 - F#5) for our production of Songs for a New World. We are accepting video auditions for this production. Audition materials and submission instructions can be found at www.westernstage.com/auditions. Please prepare King of the World - sheet music found on that page (Accompaniment Track (YouTube).
Rehearsals began July 7th, with tech week beginning Aug. 7th. Performances runs Saturdays and Sundays from Aug. 15th (opening) to Sept. 6th. (Saturdays @ 7:30PM and Sundays @ 2:00PM)
Stipend is available - limited housing also available. The Western Stage is a program of Hartnell College so participants will be required to enroll (all fees covered by The Western Stage - non-credit courses available.)
