Make memories and make someone's day with a Singing Telegram! Fun, flexible, well-paying job for entertainers.
Job requirements: Must be reliable and on time. Able to carry a tune. Have improv experience. Have dependable transportation. Own a smartphone and use our scheduling app. Be charming, quick witted, and able to work a crowd. Singing Telegrams are typically eight-ten minute performances consisting of a loosely scripted comedy act and two-three songs. You must be able to improvise and play off the crowd and recipient. Delivery to offices, restaurants, homes, etc.
Ideal candidates have lots of availability in their schedules and can accept same-day and next day gigs. You must respond quickly to gig requests (keep an eye on your phone!) You set your own schedule and you need to be on top of it.
Pay averages $85-$150+tips per Singing Telegram.
Popular characters include: Marilyn Monroe, Nurse, Cop, Elvis, Austin Powers, Gorilla in a Tutu, Phantom of the Opera, Nerd, Funky Chicken, and many more. You can also develop your own characters. Bonus if you have some costumes already.
