Silicon Valley: The Musical: Non-Union, Volunteer
We're seeking 1 male identifying and 1 female identifying actor to help bring our original full-length musical to life in October at Potrero Stage in San Francisco! "Silicon Valley: The Musical" is a 2-hour satirical comedy about the Silicon Valley experience.
The characters:
- Liz: One solo song, appears in 3-4 other songs. Liz is a post-exit startup founder who now focuses on running her group house and burning man camp. Initially a helpful ally who shows Quinn and Dave the art of creating FOMO to fundraise, she turns out to have a darker side, desperate to win at all costs.
- Professor Ross: One solo song, appears in 3-4 other songs. Quinn's robotics professor and mentor at MIT who opens Quinn's mind to the possibility that the robot beings she created might be conscious, and that they need help and protection from the forces that wish to destroy them.
Performance Dates: October 13-25, 2025
Rehearsal Period: ~2 months leading up to performances
Time Commitment: Approximately 10 hours per week (we all have day jobs but will take some time off leading up to the performance!)
