Berkeley Playhouse is a community-centered, nonprofit organization producing high-quality musical theater. We collaborate primarily with Non-Union performers, and have a limited number of AEA Single Use Engagement Category 2 Tier B contracts available each season. Non-Union performers over the age of 18 are issued a Volunteer Performer Agreement with a reimbursement to assist in covering travel costs, meals, and other expenses during the production process. Berkeley Playhouse is deeply invested in reflecting our diverse Bay Area community on stage. We encourage performers of all backgrounds, identities, sizes, and abilities to participate. Interested actors should submit a photo (jpg) and resume (pdf) to casting@berkeleyplayhouse.org, with a list of roles for which they’d like to be considered.
