PERFORMANCE SHOWCASE (JANUARY 30, 2027 in San Francisco) will be a live, in-person event that will feature 4 songs from this musical sung by real actors + some other spoken-word and poetry performances from artists in San Francisco to create a lively event!
Roles / Performers Sought
PHILO T. FARNSWORTH — Teenage Male Singer, approximately 13–19
A major featured role and the young star of the musical. Philo is the teenage genius from Idaho who conceived the fundamental idea behind electronic television. Looking for a strong young singer and compelling performer who can convey intelligence, determination, vulnerability and wonder.
YOUNG WOMAN — 20s
Strong female vocalist with the ability to deliver an emotional, beautiful ballad. Looking for warmth, expressiveness and strong storytelling through song.
BARITONE — Adult Male
Powerful male singer with presence, authority and gravitas. Must be comfortable with dramatic, character-driven material and able to command a room.
MALE ENSEMBLE SINGERS
Seeking additional male vocalists for an energetic ensemble number. Strong voices, personality and the ability to work well as part of a group are important.
