San Francisco Opera presents Dead Man Walking in their Fall 2025 season and seeks local, male, singer/actors to the San Francisco Bay area with a background in opera/musical theater who can portray characters that appear as 14 and 19 years old.
Pay Rate
AGMA Union Contract
$2,500 per performance, inclusive of rehearsal time.
6 performances = $15,000 (total contract value)
Characters
– Older Brother: Male. Tenor voice type. Can portray a character who is approximately 19 years old. Operatic singing background required.
– Younger Brother: Male. Tenor voice type. Can portray a character who is approximately 14 years old. Musical theater singing background preferred.
AUDITION PROCESS:
Wednesday, May 21, 2025 (10am-1pm)
Please prepare one musical/operatic repertoire in English of your choice. Please also prepare the specific music from the role that is provided to you by San Francisco Opera at the time of scheduling audition.
