Characters
FRED: Male, approximately 20-40 years old. Fred is well-meaning but somewhat absent-minded, with an easygoing manner that contrasts with his more focused and impatient partner, Erin. The role requires an actor who can play understated comedy as well as mounting tension and concern without making either feel exaggerated.
THE MAN AT THE WAREHOUSE: Male. A guarded, self-possessed man. He should appear capable of lifting and carrying another adult, the actor will not actually be required to do so. The role calls for a controlled, understated presence.
