A Few Good Men: Non-Union, Volunteer

Audition Non-Union Volunteer

In a newly updated version of Aaron Sorkin’s hit Broadway play-turned-Academy Award nominated movie, A Few Good Men examines the role of honor and militaristic conduct through the lens of a monumental murder trial. Soldier is pitted against soldier, the chain of military command is tested, and the fate of two low ranking Marines rests in the hands of three scrappy Navy JAG lawyers dedicated to executing justice. This production will take place in the summer and fall of 1992, set in various locations from the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba to the Washington Navy Yard in D.C.

Directed by Enrico Banson, Royal Underground’s production looks at the play through a modern lens, bringing urgency and humanity to a story that never stopped being relevant. Playing at the historic Live Oak Theater in Berkeley from June 5 through 21, 2026. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM.
