Mission
Our mission is to promote cultural activity and provide opportunities for those with dramatic and artistic aspirations and talent to take part in our musical productions under the guidance of our artistic staff. We welcome and embrace the diversity of our artists, volunteers, and audiences and encourage those of every race, ethnicity, gender identity, body type and orientation to join in our theatrical experiences.
History
WVLO was formed in 1964 with the objective of promoting cultural activity in the area and providing opportunities for anyone with dramatic aspirations to take part in theatrical productions under the guidance of experienced Play Directors.
Current
WVLO is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
WVLO performs three Broadway type musicals each season at the Saratoga Civic Theater in Saratoga CA.
Auditions for each show are open to all and WVLO encourages performers of all races and ethnicity to audition. The audition schedule is available on this website. You may also sign up to receive an email when auditions are announced.

Listening headsets are available free of charge on a first come, first served basis. They are available at the refreshment counter in the lobby. One piece of ID with current address (driver's license, state ID) is required as deposit for a headset.
Holding general auditions? : Yes
How to audition : WVLO holds separate auditions for each show produced rather than a general audition for all shows in the entire season. If you would like to be notified when audition dates are determined and when audition sign-ups are open, sign up for the audition email. Note that signing up for the audition emails will include the general information notices as well so you do not need to sign up for both newsletters. Even if you do sign up for both, you will not receive duplicate emails.
