Founded in 2005, Jewel Theatre Company (JTC) operates under a contract with Actors’ Equity Association (the union for professional actors and stage managers in the U.S.) and is dedicated to creating extraordinary productions that explore and advance the art of theatre by entertaining, enlightening and engaging the community.
JTC is the only year-round professional theatre company in Santa Cruz County and prides itself on bringing you quality, professional actors performing in both familiar favorites and lesser known plays, by first-rate playwrights. Our seasons are eclectic, ranging from dramas and musicals to comedies and classics. All in a quest to bring you inspired live theatre you’ll want to tell your friends about.
