About
TheatreInSearch came together after the production of Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot in 1985. The founder’s desire--Hayedeh Doroudy-Ahi and George Charbak- is to continue working with creative artists to produce entertaining and thought-provoking plays.
As a non-profit organization, TheatreInSearch provides artistic, educational, and cultural programs and activities to the public to further understanding and appreciation of the theatre arts. TheatreInSearch conducts several activities including Main Stage Productions, Stage Reading, Virtual Play Performance Projects, Annual Chekhov Project, Theatre Workshops, and Radio Story Reading Project.

Venue address : We organize and schedule all of our performances and activities by locating and using available main stage and alternative performance space. We have felt at home and used the following venues for our main stage productions: Ashbyy Stage Theatre, Live oak Theatre, La Val's Subterranean Theatre, Intersection for the Arts, Los Angeles-Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, San Francisco, San Diego,, San Jose, and UC Davis stages.

How to audition : We are always on the look up for male and female actors to play main roles as well as the ensemble roles for upcoming productions. Auditions are held by invitation only.
