Mutually Assured Productions (the producers of the San Francisco International Arts Festival) is organizing an independent showcase for Bay Area performing artists to present their work at the WAA Conference in Los Angeles in 2027. The plan is to secure a single venue with several stages (e.g. one for dance, one for theatre, etc.) and to split the cost proportionately between the ensembles and individuals participating in the showcase. Once we have an understanding of the number of entities interested in participating, we will seek municipal and foundation support to help underwrite the cost.
