DESCRIPTION:A free multimedia musical evening and the culmination of our two-year initiative exploring women's immigration and identity\, with four World Premieres: "Fields of Sorrow\," a new song cycle for soprano\, cello\, and piano by Juhi Bansal setting women's poetry from Afghanistan\, "Rustling\," for bass flute and percussion by Vivian Fung\, "From" for violin\, cello\, percussion\, tape\, voice\, and electronics by Pamela Z\, and "Jupiter Rain\," the winning piece from the E4TT/TAC student competition\, by Jaime Morales. Plus music by Leilehua Lanzilotti and Sofia Jen Ouyang. In collaboration with SF Conservatory of Music TAC.E4TT with Haruka Fujii\, percussion\, Lylia Guion\, violin\, Bryana Marrero\, soprano\, Stacey Pelinka\, bass flute\, and Pamela Z\, composer-performer and media artist.
