The story is narrated by a charismatic bodega owner as he interacts with neighbors facing rising rents and uncertain futures. With a pulsing score that blends hip-hop\, salsa\, merengue\, and soul\, "In the Heights" is a joyous\, multi-generational celebration of community\, culture\, and the pursuit of a better life.
