Onstage Repertory Theatre promotes, educates and develops new actors, directors and playwrights. Proudly a community theater company for the past 43 years. 

Founded in 1978 by Helen Means, Onstage first performed in the back room of Dan's Bar in Walnut Creek. In 1982, the company took up residency in the old Pleasant Hill School House and continued to perform there, until the building was condemned in 2008. As a vagabond company, Onstage has performed at a variety of theaters, including the Lesher Center for the Arts (Walnut Creek) and  Cue Productions (Concord).In the Fall of 2013, Onstage Theatre took up residency at the Martinez Campbell Theater at 636 Ward Street.
