We created this ad package to maximize effectiveness, no marketing or design expertise required.
Includes:
- 1 month of web banner advertising on the TBA website (over 13,000 pageviews)
- 1 featured listing in the TheatreGoer monthly email newsletter (over 11,000 recipients)
- 1 sponsored post on TBA's Instagram and Facebook, as a collaborator post with our main and What's Playing accounts (over 17,000 followers across all accounts)
This is designed for the repeated exposure that helps convert interest to ticket sales.
We also recommend pairing this with offline advertising (see PDN) and listing your event with traditional press (see Sources of Publicity).
How-to
First, make sure your show is listed on TBA's What's Playing calendar (included in your Company membership). We need a couple additional assets to publish your ads, which can be uploaded below or emailed to ads@TheatreBayArea.org. We'll get back to you with a confirmation for your ad placements within 1 business day.
Assets:
- Website Banner (Optional template on Canva)
- Image: 900x506px JPEG or PNG
- Alt text: A short description of the image for screen reader users (alt text guide)
- Social Media (Optional template on Canva)
- 1-10 images with the same aspect ratio: 1080x1080 px PNG preferred
- Custom caption (optional): Up to 3 sentences about the show (otherwise we will use your show description)
- Alt text: A short description of the images for screen reader users
Availability:
- Check availability on the 2025 ad schedule.
- Best booked 6+ weeks before opening.
- Availability is first-come-first-served.
- Only available to TBA Company members (does not include Associate members)
